We have experimented with various working methods, such as Kanban, Feature Driven Development, Scrum, Waterfall or Mini-Waterfall in numerous projects. However, we gradually realized that many of our projects require specific approaches that are not found in any of these methods. Therefore, we have developed NEOZOwork™, an agile project management method that is based on Scrum but has some significant differences.

The fundamental principle of NEOZOwork™ is that you can be a part of every phase of development along with us. This ensures you are always in the loop, and we can react to changes with innovative ideas at any given time.

We've made some changes in our project management approach at NEOZO. Instead of using story points, which are designed to estimate effort by taking into account the different skills within a team, we now estimate tasks in hours and days, as we work in a very homogeneous team. Additionally, we've replaced the fixed sprints of two to four weeks with more flexible times, so we can adapt to our customer's requirements, such as trade fair dates or production problems, at any time. These changes allow us to be more efficient and responsive to our customers' needs.

An iterative process

1. Get to know each other

Whether in a workshop or at a nice breakfast meeting: we want to get to know you and understand your issues. During a personal meeting, we can better understand your concerns, define requirements, and explore initial ideas for implementation.

2. Workshop

We recommend scheduling a personalized NEOZOwork™ consultation to receive a realistic offer and ensure successful collaboration. The workshop is designed to deliver results in three key areas:

  • Empathetic assessment

3. Offer phase

We refine the workshop results, define the objective, develop an offer and suggest external partners, for example for design and marketing, if the project requires this. We then plan and develop the project together with you.

4. Realization according to the NEOZOwork™ method

We use the NEOZOwork™ method to develop software with transparency and executability of all processes and workflows at all times.
